Knight Sounds provides a professional wedding and civil partnership service.

Prior to you special day we discuss any requests, including your first dance. If you require us to set-up prior to your reception, we are happy to discuss these arrangements. All of our presenters are involved/have been involved with presenting at radio stations and clubs for over 10+ years. We are also very happy to work alongside bands. Why is the reception so important?

Recently Mike attended a wedding, AS A GUEST!! and was shocked at the DJ the local hotel had employed. Many hotels have resident disco’s with DJs just starting out on the ladder charging lower fees. This particular DJ was failing to read the crowd and couldn’t get people to stay on the dance floor, he was leaving huge gaps between the records and there no was atmosphere.

Mike was asked by the bride, to see if he could help save the evening. With the expertise, which he had gained through Knight Sounds, he was able to help the DJ turn the night around. What would have happened if Mike wasn’t there... who knows?!

The most important thing is that if you look at the breakdown of your special day, you spend the most amount of time at the reception.

On the day of your wedding or civil partnership your time is likely to be divided as follows:

» 30 minutes Church or Registry Office
» 90 minutes Photos
» 90 minutes Dinner
» 30 minutes Speeches
» 240 minutes Disco Reception

Packages

We offer two exceptional packages but if they don't fit your requirements, please give us a call. We are one of the most flexible discos around and are quite happy to tailor a package suited to your requirements. The "out of the box" packages are:-  
Premium Wedding/Civil Ceremony Disco Package (for 50 to 180 guests)
Evening Wedding/Civil Ceremony Disco Package (for 50 to 180 guests)

Premium Wedding/Civil Ceremony Disco Package
(for 50 to 180 guests):

  £375*

  • Our most impressive disco, which incorporates an up to date light show, crystal clear sound system, and one of our highly experienced disc jockeys. Our discos are extremely presentable, free from unsightly wires and plugs.
  • The disco will be setup in advance of the reception.
  • We can provide background music of your choice during the wedding breakfast. (creating a more relaxed atmosphere)
  • A radio microphone will be provided for speeches.
  • Announcement of any key proceedings if required including cutting of the cake, speeches, first dance and so on.
  • Play your special requests alongside any that your guests ask for.
  • We are able to liaise with any band or additional evening entertainment you may decide to have.
  • Organise an archway as the groom and bride, bride and bride or groom and groom leave (delete as appropriate!)

 

Evening Wedding/Civil Ceremony Disco Package
(for 50 to 180 guests):

 £180*

  • The same high quality disco presentation as our premium package, including one of our highly experienced disc jockeys.
  • The disco will be setup before the evening entertainment is due to begin.
  • We will announce any key proceedings including the cutting of the cake and your 1st dance.
  • Play your special requests alongside any that your guests ask for.
  • We are able to liaise with any band or additional evening entertainment you may decide to have.
  • Organise an archway as the groom and bride, bride and bride or groom and groom leave.

Note: Premium Package based on a midnight finish and within a 25 mile radius of Ipswich. Evening package price based on a 7pm till midnight finish and within a 25 mile radius of Ipswich.
