How much does it cost to hire Knight Sounds?

How can I book Knight Sounds?
You can make an enquiry via email or phone. If you decide to book Knight Sounds a 25% deposit is required within 7 days. Once the deposit has been received you will be sent written confirmation of your booking.

How far do you travel?
For many years Knight Sounds DJ’s have service the whole EU.

What style of music do you play?
The music is all commercial based, meaning that most people will be familiar with what their hearing. The type of music played reflects on the age range of the guests, and is commonly changed throughout the evening. A wide style of music from various decades is always at hand.

Can I give you a small playlist?
Yes, if there are certain songs you definitely want playing then let me know in advance. Avoid a long list and bare in mind the type and age of your guests on the evening.

Can you provide background music throughout the meal?
Yes, please discuss this when making your enquiry if applicable.

Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes, this information is available on request.

Is all of your equipment PAT tested?
Our equipment is tested every year to HSE standards.

Do you also do Karaoke?
Yes, Knight Sounds will work with other companies to provide Karaoke.

Can we come and see you perform?
We cannot invite unknown guests to someone else's wedding or event. We suggest that you look at the feedback page on this site & the picture gallery of our shows. Hopefully this will answer all your questions, if not we will try to make an arrangement for you to see us.

Will I have to pay V.A.T.?
No, the price your quoted is the price you pay. Knight Sounds is not V.A.T. registered.

How long does it take to set up the disco?
This varies depending on access from the van to the room, and the size of disco. A general guide is 2 hours, with 45 minutes to breakdown.

Will you work alongside bands?
We are more than happy to work along side bands. It is your function and we want to fit in with your requirments.

How do we know that you won’t send someone else on the day?
We don’t out source or subcontract our work to anyone else. We do not take good quality bookings and then send in a completely unknown company with a teenager in a car, towing a trailer with no microphone

How much room do you require?
Our large disco requires 5m x 2m. Our small disco requires 4m x 2m. We can condense to fit smaller areas.

Can you set-up in the morning or afternoon prior to our arrival at the venue?
Yes, we are more than happy to fit in with these requirement. Additional costs may be incurred depending on venue location.
